What is a Balance Sheet?

Every public company (private ones too) has a balance sheet.

Here are some basics of a balance sheet:

• A company's balance sheet shows the health of the company at this moment in time.

• On the balance sheet, (Assets) = (Liabilities + Equity).

• On the balance sheet, more "cash" and less "debt" may help a company weather tough times.

In conclusion, that's some basics of a balance sheet.
